CHARACTER NAME: Gladion
CHARACTER AGE: 15
SERIES: Pokemon Sun & Moon
CHRONOLOGY: Right after Guzma gives him a beatdown at Aether Paradise
CLASS: anti-hero
HOUSING: Maurtia Falls (not picky who housed with, but Gladion is more of a loner)
BACKGROUND:
Gladion hails from the Pokémon world, specifically from the island region of Alola, which is a tropical landscape filled with many kinds of creatures that work side by side with humans. Many of these creatures, known as Pokémon, do varying things with the humans they work with. However, not all of these things are what one would call pure of heart, as there are those who would use their partners for more nefarious deeds.
The region of Alola has in total four main islands consisting of Melemele, Akala, Ula'Ula, and Poni islands; with Poni Island having another island part of it nearby known as Exeggutor Island that has the Alolan variant of Exeggutor among a few other species of Pokémon. There is another island separate from these four main islands, although this island is not naturally formed and is man-made, known as the Aether Paradise which shelters injured and/or abandoned Pokémon from across the region. It is also a source of some very shady activity, and its President, Lusamine, Gladion's mother, is at the center of this.
Gladion’s role in this acts initially as an antagonistic force to the player, akin to a rival, having joined up with a local gang known as Team Skull; a band of rejects and misfits that society had failed. He did this to get stronger, but defected from them once he found out their leader was in league with his mother, and became more of an ally to the player character in their attempts to stop his mother from reaching her goals of summoning otherworldly beasts known as Ultra Beasts.
Relationships:
Lusamine: Although their relationship is strained, Gladion does seem to care about his mother and tried to become stronger in an attempt to stop her and save her from herself.
Lillie: He cares a lot about his sister, however they’re not particularly close and he is somewhat distant from her.
Faba: Theirs is one that is filled with mistrust, mostly Gladion towards Faba as he does not think highly of him nor does he trust him.
Hau: Although he won’t outright admit it, Hau is someone he does consider a friend, even if he can get sharp in his words towards the other.
Guzma: Gladion appears to have some sense of respect for the man, who leads Team Skull, having stuck around Skull as its Enforcer to become stronger.
More information about Gladion, here: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Gladion
PERSONALITY:
"But this brat... he's just using that as an excuse not to try hard because he can't beat the kahuna. Because he can't beat Hala when he's serious!"
Gladion is quite sharp with his words and does not hold much back in what he says, speaking with bluntness and abruptness instead of watering down or mincing his words to be kinder. He speaks what’s on his mind with little consideration to how it’ll affect others, mostly due in part to the position he’s put into. The one most often at the end of these pointed words is Hau, who oftentimes annoys him with his laid-back and easygoing personality in comparison to his own serious attitude. His sharp words not only go outwards towards others, but inwardly towards himself as well, showing in the form of him saying he’s not strong enough and that it was all for nothing.
"Battle me. I won't take no for an answer."
"And you all are so useless and weak that now Cosmog is... Lillie is... Arghhh! I'll show you how angry you make me!"
Gladion is very demanding, and refuses to take no for an answer. He is assertive in what he wants and won’t hesitate to go and get his way, even being referred to as a spoiled brat according to Guzma. He is also very quick to anger and impatient, and seemingly will take it out on whoever is nearest to him with a battle. His quickness to anger, demanding attitude, and eagerness to immediately jump into a fight is due in part to his upbringing and influence from Lusamine’s treatment towards him.
"Even if she is...like that, Lusamine is still our mother. We can't just leave her in the beast's world."
Despite his upbringing and tense, strained, relationship with his mother, it’s apparent that he clearly still loves her despite the way she treated him as an ornament; even going so far as to want to save her from the beasts and even from herself. He has some anger towards his father, Mohn, who went missing and drove Lusamine into her spiral and obsession with the Ultra Beasts. His love for his mother also extends to his sister, who also had suffered under Lusamine’s treatment and abuse, and he feels regret over leaving her at Aether to go off on his own; but also sees that his sister has become strong on her own and praises her for it.
"Ngh! So I'm still not strong enough. All the days that I struggled alone and lonely... it was all for nothing? Is that it?"
As stated before, he is quite hard on himself and doesn't take losing well. He joined up with Team Skull as their Enforcer after being offered the job by their leader, Guzma, to try and become stronger so that he could accomplish his goals. His quick temper and sharp tongue are inwardly focused upon himself in the event of a loss, being self-deprecating at times. He is very critical of himself due to this, and his upbringing.
"I know we aren't friends. But we aren't enemies anymore either.”
Gladion is very reserved and reluctant to offer his gratitude or admit things to others, even when he feels positively towards whoever in question he’s talking to. He attempts to reaffirm this by saying in a more negative or neutral manner of speaking, oftentimes stating that while he’s not friends he’s also not enemies, despite knowing he considers the individual in question an actual friend. Will he admit this? Likely not, as he’s reserved in his offerings of kinder words, opting more for sharpness instead. Underneath this, he’s just an awkward teen who would rather act tough than admit he’s grateful for something or someone. However the rare times he’ll admit his gratitude, he does so with sincerity.

X-Scissor - the user attacks the enemy in an X-formation with wings or claws
Aerial Ace - an incredibly fast attack that has guaranteed accuracy and won't miss
Sneasel
Lvl: 37
A tricky weasel-like creature that likes to steal eggs. It possesses an affinity for the cold and darkness, and is immune to any psychic based abilities. Sneasel uses its cold based affinity and its sharp claws to attack.

Icy Wind - the user attacks with chilled breath that also lowers the enemy's speed
Metal Claw - an attack with claws hard as steel that sometimes raises the user's attack
Feint Attack - the user throws a sucker punch that never misses
Quick Attack - a very fast striking attack that hits first
Golbat
Lvl: 37

Umbreon (pulled from the anime)

A medium sized catlike black Pokemon with a moon theme and has an affinity for the dark, possessing an immunity to any psychic based abilities. Umbreon uses various parts of its body to attack depending on the attack it is using, varying from its tail, paws, and fangs.
Ability:
Synchronize - if the user has a status condition such as being burned, paralysed, or poisoned; the enemy is also given that status effect
Moveset:
Dark Pulse - the user focuses dark thoughts onto the enemy and deals damage, this also has a chance to cause flinching
Iron Tail - an attack with a tail as hard as steel that can sometimes lower the opponent's defense
Shadow Ball - a shadowy orb that's launched at the opponent and sometimes lowers special defense (mental/magical opposed to physical defenses)
Pursuit - an attack whose power is increased if the opponent tries to switch out of battle, it otherwise is an average attack in terms of strength
As long as Gladion trains against other trainers in the month, his Pokemon can go up 3 or 4 levels
Illusions (based off of Zoroark’s Illusions)
Gladion has to maintain focus to put up an illusion around him, and can do this so long as he can remain focused on what he’s doing, however it’s not for an indefinite amount of time as it will tire him out mentally if he has to do it for an extended period of time or casts multiple ones around him. He needs to know what the animal or person looks like first before he can cast the illusion around himself, otherwise it won’t work. A short burst of bending the illusion to make him appear as if no one was there expends a lot of focus and will fail if he becomes the slightest bit unfocused, and is usually used to make a quick getaway.
The illusion will fail or flicker depending on the intensity of how hard he is struck. Being struck with full force to knock him over, to the ground, or unconscious, the illusion will fail entirely. A small tap would make it flicker and he could recover quicker from it to retain the illusion.
His illusions are best used as a scouting or infiltration setting, as he could blend in with the right information.
Silvally's discs to grant elemental abilities to others
Gladion possesses the memory discs that Silvally would use to change its type, however these discs are now a part of Gladion and he can use any of the discs to grant one elemental affinity to give a temporary defensive resistance or ability to them and upon himself, as well as Silvally when Type: Null evolves. When applied to Silvally, Silvally’s type will change and affect its type offenses and resistances accordingly. Gladion cannot give two of the same “type” to someone else if another already possesses that one in question already. (Ex. If Gladion applied the Ice Type memory to himself for cold/ice resistance, he would not be able to give someone else the same “type” he has, he’d have to use one of the other 16 discs remaining to use). The more he uses on people, the more exhausted he will get, and should not exceed going past 5 people at the absolute maximum. Even going that many will leave him weakened and in more extreme circumstances: unconscious. These cannot be used on those who are already beings of another element (Ex. a being of fire, Gladion cannot give a Water Memory to as it would be biologically impossible for him to do so). These effects are temporary and can last up to an hour unless Gladion cancels the effect himself. Silvally's type change is not limited to this timer.
Type abilities granted:
Fire Memory: Grants the ability to become fireproof
Grass Memory: Grants the ability to have increased healing speeds
Water Memory: Grants the ability to breathe underwater
Electric Memory: Grants the ability to not become electrocuted and slightly boosts the user's speed

I don't have time for this… but fine, fine I'll do it. Hmph, waste of time but I have questions anyway.
[The video cuts in with Gladion looking irritated and annoyed, almost as if he's ready to fight with someone if they got him even more irritated.
He crosses his arms before he speaks, holding a Pokéball in one hand as a red light flashes and a Sneasel appears, sitting on a stool next to where he's standing.]
If there's anything like what we have back home that treats their injuries, or health in general, I'd like to know.
[He lets out a huff and looks around, as if he's thinking.]
If there's anyone else from back home… I suppose that'd be nice.
