Personality: Often seen out of his Pokeball, Umbreon sticks by his trainer’s side the most and is very affectionate towards Gladion as well as others. Umbreon is the most friendly of Gladion’s Pokemon, and the easiest to befriend. Being a Dark Type, Umbreon can be crafty, however this isn’t as common for him to pull pranks and would rather give or receive affection from those he doesn’t deem a threat towards himself or his allies. Umbreon can often be found napping when he’s not following Gladion or sitting in someone’s lap, and is the closest friends with Gladion’s Silvally. Even with a relaxed attitude, Umbreon is very eager to battle and can get competitive if he’s having enough fun against his opponent, preferring not to back down even when losing.
MoM related changes:
In his time since February, Umbreon has befriended many residents and found an extreme fondness in Martin Darkov, whom the Dark Type has claimed as his favourite person besides Gladion and his sister. Umbreon is always looking to charm his way into anyone's good side by using his cuteness to his advantage, and often gets it much to the irritation of his trainer. Umbreon's prized possession is a little blue bead given to him in March by Martin when he and Gladion met the boy through a now ported out Nico di Angelo and he is fiercely protective of said bead, where it is located on a yellow collar around his neck next to his identification tag with Gladion's information.
Umbreon has also formed a familial-like bond with Archie's Mightyena, enjoying the time with the larger canine and often being found in a cuddling pile with it whenever Gladion and Archie have been training unless the two were battling one another.
Umbreon has also found himself adored by some of the locals around Maurtia Falls, and even has become the mascot of a local cafe that Gladion has frequented and even helped out part time with when he wasn't walking dogs or was free for the day and the cafe was more active than usual.
As of late August 21st, Umbreon's ownership has changed hands from Gladion to his younger sister Lillie (granted with prior mod approval). Any further changes made with Umbreon are to be observed over on walkontwolegs, which is Lillie's MoM player's journal.
Personality: The most rowdy of Gladion’s Pokemon, Weavile is the very definition of a gremlin, enjoying pranking others whether or not he’s given permission to. Weavile has a strong rivalry with Gladion’s Lucario, despite having a glaring type disadvantage, however he doesn’t care about this. It has been this way ever since the two were a Riolu and Sneasel, always having a strong rivalry with one another. Both of these Pokemon care about the other and their rivalry is that of a friendship level rather than a malicious rivalry, never going so far as intentionally harming one another. Weavile’s favourite things to eat and steal are eggs, and sometimes even stealing wallets much to his trainer’s frustrations of the latter theft occurring, occasionally finding those items near his bed. Being a prankster, Weavile can also be quite malicious if pitted against an opponent that is not in for a friendly competition. He’s even more malicious if you threaten Gladion, as he is even quicker to anger than Silvally is, and will likely make the first strike if he’s out of his Pokeball at the time
Personality: Crobat is more reserved and less likely to open up to others besides Gladion or his Pokemon team, but if you can manage to gain this bat’s softer side, he will be less cautious and may show his affection. If his mood is fair enough that is. Not to say that Crobat is anti-social, he just errs more often than not on the side of caution, opting to observe rather than to jump headfirst (wings first?) into opening up, but will be social if the situation calls for it or he feels that he’s up for potential entertainment. The easiest way to befriend him is to offer him a piece of fruit, but watch out, he might try and prey on your blood if he’s especially hungry.
MoM related changes:
Having come in as a Golbat, Gladion began training with Archie in order to evolve the large bat and to train him to fly better; both of which happened due to their training. As a result of the training and subsequent evolution, Crobat has found favour in Archie and Archie's Crobat as well.
Personality: Lucario is a Pokemon that is very competitive, but also very kind towards others. He has a strong rivalry with Weavile as the two often spar together, even with the type advantage and knowing he typically can win against the ice and dark type with a quad advantage with his fighting type. However, he doesn’t go fully all out in ways of decimating Weavile. Lucario enjoys a good spar, but knows when to be gentle against an opponent, and will take it easier on less experienced opponents compared to more experienced ones who he is less likely to go as easy on. He is very loyal to his trainer and can occasionally be found walking with Gladion outside of his Pokeball.
Personality: Silvally is a very affectionate Pokemon toward Gladion, even going so far as chewing or licking on his hair, which Gladion has grown to become endeared by. Silvally doesn’t only enjoy chewing or licking Gladion, this also extends to anything it can get its mouth on, much to the annoyance and frustrations of others often yelling for Gladion to control his beast. At its core, Silvally acts much in the ways a puppy would, even having hyperactive spurts much to the complaints of those around it. Silvally’s favourite snacks it shouldn’t have are shoes. Fiercely loyal to Gladion, and grateful to him, Silvally does whatever Gladion asks of it so long as Gladion’s safety is in mind. Despite having a laid back and playful personality, Silvally will become a force to be reckoned with if Gladion’s safety is put at risk, showing just how incredible its strength is as a synthetic Arceus; and as such possesses the power of a Legendary Pokemon. It is in your best interest to stay on this beast’s good side and not anger it, or you risk being torn to shreds in its wrath.
